1. Always make your Passwords as strong as possible.
Passwords are the key to your information and you need to be careful making your passwords strong and remember able. Some of the most common passwords that are easy to track:

Make you passwords look different from those listed above. Make sure you use at least one capital alphabet, one numeric digit and one special character. Also try to change your passwords at some regular intervals.
2. Never save your passwords on any devices.
Saving your passwords on the devices you use, makes work a bit faster but it may cause you a loss. A saved password is much easier to steal. Just type your password whenever you login to any of your accounts.
3. Visit the site only if it has a SSL Certificate(Green Padlock and https:// in the URL).
SSL Certificate when installed on a web server, it activates the padlock and the https protocol and allows secure connections from a web server to a browser. Typically, SSL is used to secure credit card transactions, data transfer and logins, and more recently is becoming the norm when securing browsing of social media sites.
4. Click as less as possible while surfing Internet.
There are many sites which may link to some or the other malicious codes like worms, adware, Trojans which are used to steal your personal information and may also damage your device. Click only on the trusted links which look more standard and seem to be in a right position of the web page.
5. Install Ad blocker Plugins.
Nowadays a lot of Ad networks have come up with different types of advertising techniques like banners, pop-ups, pop-under, native subscription and also hyperlinks. If click you on any of the untrusted Ads it may try to install some apps on your device which may slower your device and sometimes try to damage it. 6. Cover your webcam with a tape when not in use.
If you are using a laptop or have a webcam installed at your desktop covering it with a tape will prevent some sites (which try to track your images secretly) to track your images. If you are using a smartphone don’t allow any unknown third party to access your camera or any other application.
7. Always use Incognito Mode when using devices of cyber or other person.
You can open the Incognito Window by pressing Shift+Ctrl+N. Incognito Mode is a browser mode in which the browser does not tracks your activities like History, Passwords. Even if you do not log out of your accounts and close the window the browser will not remember your Id or Password. This will help you to keep your personal information private.
8. Enable Multiple Factor Authentication to your accounts.
If anyone stole your password or tries to hack it he will not be able to log into your account. Multiple Factor Authentication will verify your identity by OTP (One Time Password), Mail Verification, etc…
9. Keep your Apps up to date.
Updating your apps whenever there is a update makes them more stable. Also, makes it much harder for the malicious code to act on it.
