If you write a program, always try to always as yourself, “How can I make it better?”

Beginner developers (programmers) write their code to praise its magnificence. They write programs which can run without failure. But great developers (programmers) thoroughly look for the faults in their code because they know one day or another, the users may find out the flaws in their code.

3) Reading a lot of coding stuff will be a great investment.

As you have specific amount of knowledge about coding in your preferred language, reading some codes will surely add to that knowledge. Reading the code of the programmers which are more experienced and better than you will always help you progress. Reading their code will make you analyse their code from your perspective. It will automatically lead to inculcating some of the effective practise that they have used. Comparing your code with theirs will evolve your way of programming. So, always ask your senior colleagues for some bunch of coding stuff (Not for coping of-course. LOL!) .

4) Cleanliness matters!

Cleanliness and the readability of your code is the matter of great concern. You must develop a habit of writing with the proper alignment and flow, as correct alignment makes your code more clean and readable. Usage of comments where ever necessary helps in revealing the purpose of your code to the reader. And is also a great practise to keep yourself aware of what you are doing. It also helps you to manipulate your code easily and saves time as well. So, next time when you do coding make sure that you use correct alignment and use a few comments wherever necessary.
